Find the perfect snowboard in our range
To find the perfect snowboard, you need to consider and take into account several different factors. It is particularly important to emphasize the following:
- Length
- Level
- Type
- Flex
If you manage to choose the right snowboard, you can look forward to a good, fun, and comfortable experience with snowboarding. You will feel at ease and have a good foundation to develop your skills and enjoy the experience. Conversely, the wrong choice of snowboard can negatively affect the entire experience, and there will be an unnecessarily high risk of getting into trouble.
Snowboards for beginners, intermediates, and experts
Whether you are a beginner, an experienced snowboarder, or somewhere in between, snowboarding is a sport that welcomes everyone. All stars start somewhere, and with patience, dedication, and the right training, anyone can develop their skills on the slopes and come to master snowboarding.
If you also dream of becoming a skilled snowboarder, you first need to find a snowboard that suits your level. You can sort our snowboards by the levels beginner, intermediate, and expert. As a beginner, you should choose a soft and short board, as these are easier to maneuver and perform tricks on.
All mountain, off-piste, and park snowboards
In our selection, you will find three types of snowboards, namely all mountain, off-piste, and park snowboards.
Among most snowboarders, both beginners and experts, all mountain snowboards are the most popular, as they are very versatile and meet the needs of most.
If you are the adventurous type who enjoys riding in powder snow, you might want to choose an off-piste snowboard, also known as a freeride snowboard. This type of snowboard has a special profile and shape that makes it particularly suitable for off-piste snowboarding.
If you enjoy jumps and fun in the Fun park, then a park board might be something for you. These snowboards are softer than normal boards, making them more versatile and easier to perform tricks with.
The ideal length for your snowboard
As you can see, we sell snowboards in many different lengths – ranging from 140 cm to 174 cm. Choosing the right size is not always straightforward when it comes to snowboards, as several parameters need to be considered, but help is at hand.
As a general rule, you should choose a snowboard that reaches your chin. However, it is also important to take into account your height and weight. Ultimately, the ideal length will depend on the terrain you will be riding in. In our guide on snowboards, we have created a simple size guide that you can use.
Snowboards and flex
Flex indicates how stiff a snowboard is. The stiffer the board, the more force it requires to steer and bend. We offer both soft boards (1-4 flex), medium boards (5-7 flex), and stiff boards (8-10 flex).
The soft boards are best suited for beginners, as these boards are very forgiving and easier to control. The stiff boards are for very skilled snowboarders and experts who have extensive experience with snowboarding and can control a snowboard at high speeds.
Advantages of choosing used snowboards
Although you can occasionally find brand new snowboards in our range, we specialize in selling used snowboards. These are snowboards that other snowboarders have either outgrown or chosen to replace for other reasons.
We see the following advantages to buying a used snowboard:
- Used snowboards are much cheaper than new ones
- It is a good opportunity to try your hand at snowboarding without having to invest a large sum of money in equipment
- It is an environmentally friendly choice, as it reduces the need for the production of new snowboards
You can easily assess the condition of the individual snowboards
The condition of our snowboards can and will vary from board to board. However, what is common for most of our boards is that the condition is quite good.
On each product page, you will be able to see whether the snowboard is brand new or categorized as gold, silver, or bronze condition. Gold has only a few signs of wear, silver has signs of wear, while bronze has larger scratches and dents.
How to maintain your snowboard
Keeping your snowboard in top shape requires ongoing care and maintenance.
You should first and foremost make it a habit to regularly clean your snowboard of dirt, snow, and sand. After use, make sure to store the board dry and away from direct sunlight, so it does not get damaged when not in use.
For optimal glide, it is also recommended to wax the snowboard from time to time. Additionally, keep an eye on damage to the base and edges, and have the board repaired if it gets damaged. We offer snowboard service at favorable prices.
