Stand Description
When you shop on our website, there will only be one picture of each model, even if this model is available in different sizes and conditions. This means that in most cases, you are not buying the skis shown in the pictures on the product page.
But there's no need to worry about this because...
To give you the best experience, we have decided to be completely transparent on the site. To avoid negative surprises, we have classified all our products according to their wear conditions: gold, silver, and bronze.
All skis are newly waxed and sharpened!
When buying used skis on Secondskis.com, there should be no doubt that the skis are fully functional. Any scratches on the base are filled in, the edges are sharpened, and all skis are newly waxed. To ensure the best safety, all defective gear is sorted out and not sold on Secondskis.com!
With us, it is mainly the surface and bindings that have cosmetic scratches, which have no impact on the skis' function!
Our skis have always been maintained. We have ensured that the structure and durability of the skis are preserved.
GOLD CONDITION: EQUIPMENT IN VERY GOOD CONDITION

The Difference Between Gold, Silver, and Bronze
But what is the big difference between Gold, Silver, and Bronze, you might ask yourself now? The answer is actually quite simple. Features, appearance, and price.
Features:
Of course, a Bronze ski is more worn and used than a Gold ski, but all our skis are newly sharpened and waxed. This means that all edges on all our skis are equally sharp and cut just as well through all snow.
However, there will be more signs of wear on the base, in the form of scratches and covered dents on a Bronze ski compared to a Gold ski! Have you ever tried looking under your skis after a week on a ski holiday? Many new dents and scratches quickly appear, and it's not because you can feel that your skis cut the turns "worse" at the end of the holiday than when you first put them on and they were perfectly fine? (If that's the case, it might be due to sore legs and a bit too much après-ski 😉) A professional might be able to feel the difference, but we ordinary skiers won't... And no, you're not a professional until you have new wax on every day according to the weather!
Appearance:
When it comes to the appearance of the skis, it's 100% a matter of taste! If you want a ski that looks really sharp without major scratches or dents, you should choose a gold ski.
If, on the other hand, you are more indifferent to various dents and cosmetic scratches but focus more on the skis' features and the best value for money, then you should go with a Bronze ski.
Now there's the infamous Silver ski left... A really nice middle ski, which has a few more dents than a Gold ski, but not nearly as many as a Bronze ski. So if you want the best of both worlds, then a Silver ski is the one to have.
Price:
Congratulations. Many congratulations. Because if you're reading this now and have made it this far down the page, you have almost certainly considered whether a set of used skis could be something for you. You are on your way to making perhaps your "best ski purchase of your life." You get so much ski for the money that it's completely wild, and maybe even a little hard to believe your own eyes. We aim for our skis to be about 60% cheaper than the new price, and you won't find such a good discount anywhere else!
So if you're a person who loves to make a good deal, where you can stand and laugh at your friends who have paid a huge overprice for their new fancy skis (which still look used after just 5 days on the slopes), then you've come to the right place!
And yes, a Bronze ski is cheaper than a Gold ski, and try to guess what lies in between? A Silver ski :)
