Stöckli is a Swiss company that specializes in manufacturing skis. The story began back in the 1930s when the founder Josef Stöckli experimented with producing a pair of wooden skis for his own use. However, Josef quickly discovered that there were others besides him who could benefit from a pair of reliable wooden skis, and thus he started Stöckli.
In the first many years of the company's existence, Josef personally ensured that all new ski models were tested before they hit the market. To this day, Stöckli continues to place great emphasis on thoroughly testing all their skis before they reach store shelves.
